Currently, we have an opportunity for aSurvey Assistant – Calgary, ABwho, ideally, has past experience in the Survey industry and has a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.The Work:- Assist with the work of surveying oilfield and construction sites in Western Canada.- Willing and able to travel as shift work may last up to 21 days.- Take direction and instruction from the Crew Chief.- Maintain a safe work environment,



and awareness of safety issues.- Perform a variety of survey-related tasks such as use and/or maintenance of GPS equipment, ongoing survey data collection, and other duties as directed by the Crew Chief.- Building a team environment through high-quality communication skills with trades, staff, and clients.What you bring to the table:- A High School Diploma, and an interest in the Geomatics industry.- Post-secondary Geomatics education is an asset.- Familiarity with the work of a survey crew.- Experience working in outdoor bush conditions as well as industrial construction sites.- Certification in First Aid, H2S, CSTS, or equivalent.- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.- Ability to provide a passing drug and alcohol test result upon request.- Solid communication skills.- Experience with riding ATV and snowmobiles.We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
