Ellos HR Solutions is recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for an established manufacturing organization in Oakville.

This is a key position within a mid sized manufacturing facility with 200+ employees and a highly automated, state of the art operation.

The person joining the team will work very closely with the Engineering Manager , essentially becoming a key technical partner and right hand within the Engineering department.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable being on the manufacturing floor, working directly with equipment, processes, automation and production teams.

⚙️ WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH

? Manufacturing process development and optimization

? CNC equipment and machining processes

? Robotics and industrial automation

? PLC controlled manufacturing equipment

? Welding and assembly processes

? Mechanical and industrial equipment

? SolidWorks, Creo, CAD drawings and schematics

? Equipment and process improvements

? Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement

? New equipment and manufacturing projects

? Troubleshooting complex manufacturing systems

? Technical support and mentorship to Engineering and Production teams

? WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline

✅ Strong hands on Manufacturing Engineering experience within an industrial production environment

✅ Experience with CNC equipment, robotics, automation and industrial machinery

✅ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems and equipment troubleshooting

✅ Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and/or Creo

✅ Exposure to PLC controlled equipment,



welding and mechanical assembly

✅ Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement background

✅ Ability to lead engineering projects from concept through implementation

✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to work across Engineering, Production, Maintenance and other departments

IATF 16949 experience is a great asset.

Experience as an IATF 16949 auditor would be particularly valuable, but is not mandatory.

Experience within automotive, metal manufacturing, fabrication or another heavy industrial manufacturing environment would fit very well.
