Salary: CAD $31.64/Hr.Care Aide – Powell River, BCA Care Aide provides resident/client and family centered care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or another designated supervisor. The role includes personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, assistance with meals and oral hygiene, response to call bells, monitoring symptoms and behavioural changes, documentation of observations, use of mechanical aids, lifting and transferring clients safely, and maintaining a clean and safe setting. Other duties as assigned may also be performed.ResponsibilitiesAssist with personal care and nursing tasks as outlined in care plans.Respond promptly to call bells/alarms.Observe and monitor clients’ progress, reporting significant changes.Utilise mechanical aids such as specialty beds, wheelchairs and stretchers.Assist with lifting and transferring clients using approved techniques.Maintain a clean and safe client and staff environment.Perform additional related duties as assigned.QualificationsGrade 10 education, including English 10.Successful graduation from a recognised Health Care Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education,
