As a key member of the health care team, you will report to the Patient Care Manager and engage in assessment, education, and advocacy for patients and families. This role demands a commitment to the principles of Person-Centered Care and adherence to the Ontario nursing standards, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities: • Assess critically ill patients and implement care strategies • Advocate for patient needs and preferences • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team • Educate patients and families on care processes • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and nursing councils
Requirements: • Active registration with the Ontario College of Nurses • At least two years of experience in critical care • BCLS and ACLS certifications required • Robust communication and organizational skills • Willingness to participate in continuing education
