Responsible for specimen collection and pre-analytical specimen handling/processing using proper techniques and standard procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate
- Basic Life Support Level C
- Intermediate data entry skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Electrocardiogram experience is an asset
- Valid drivers license, where required by the job (mobile lab collection)
- Phlebotomy certification may be considered as equivalent education requirement
