Join the Coming Full Circle Project as a Peer Specialist in Haliburton County, where you will provide essential support for those facing substance use and mental health challenges. This temporary full-time position focuses on building community and fostering acceptance. As a Peer Specialist, you'll leverage your lived experience to offer emotional and practical support to individuals navigating recovery from mental health or substance use issues.

This role involves engaging clients through supportive programming and cooperative efforts with local services to improve community health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

- Offer support to clients both individually and in groups
- Organize and host community education events




- Foster partnerships with local health services
- Actively maintain accurate documentation
- Engage in ongoing professional development Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Direct personal experience with mental health or substance use
- Commitment to personal recovery and helping others
- Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills
