Embark on your engineering journey as a Mining Engineer in Training at Suncor in Fort McMurray, Alberta. As a New Graduate Mining Engineer (EIT), you will support Suncor’s initiatives in areas including tailings management and water sustainability.
Work within a collaborative team dedicated to creative engineering solutions and community-oriented practices. Your technical skills will be developed through hands-on experience and various training programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and enhance mine and tailings management plans
- Assess risks and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to ensure execution adherence
- Support ongoing projects with operational insights
- Value safety and sustainable practices in all tasks Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining, Civil, or Geological Engineering
- Actively pursuing APEGA membership
- Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office and CADD
- Hold an Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
