Take charge as a Natural Resource Officer Sergeant with the BC Public Service in Williams Lake. This in office role involves leading compliance operations and navigating crucial environmental enforcement efforts. As a Sergeant in the Natural Resource Officer Service, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and operations of compliance activities.

Leading a team, you’ll address urgent environmental issues and collaborate with multiple agencies to enhance public safety. This position uniquely combines leadership with frontline enforcement work. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee compliance and enforcement initiatives within your jurisdiction
- Supervise up to 10 technical and administrative staff
- Manage multi-agency collaborations and emergency situations




- Conduct significant environmental investigations and enforce laws
- Act as a Special Provincial Constable as needed Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in relevant natural resource fields
- Significant experience in compliance and enforcement actions
- Proven track record in leadership and operational management
- Valid BC Driver’s Licence and ability to work in the field
- Successful completion of the Natural Resource Officer Academy Step into a pivotal leadership role focusing on environmental preservation and community welfare.
