: The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) is an experienced Registered Nurse who provides frontline clinical leadership, expert nursing support, staff mentorship, and quality improvement guidance to promote safe, high-quality patient care, enhance team effectiveness, and support efficient unit operations specifically on Unit A.The CRN works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, clinical nurse educator, Quality Improvement leads andother SHA partners to ensure that best, leading and evidence-based practices are used to provide high quality, secure care.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

- Demonstrated ability to organize
- Demonstrates leadership skills
Experience
- Three (3) years clinical experience in acute care medicine is preferred
- One (1) year experience in a clinical leadership role is preferred
Knowledge & Abilities
- Ability to operate related equipment & carry out the duties of the position
- Organize/prioritize work on multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Ability to competently use computers and software applications
- Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to be adaptable, build trust, provide coaching and mentorship
- Ability to maintain client/patient/resident confidentiality
- Promotes a strong inter-disciplinary team
- Ability to integrate knowledge and experience to enhance clinical practice.
Other Education & Training
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Other Information
- Experience in program planning, implementation and evaluation is an asset.
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
