Become an Occupational Therapist at FIREFLY to make a real difference in children's lives. This full time role involves a blend of assessment, program development, and collaboration in community settings across Northwestern Ontario. As part of a vibrant team in Sioux Lookout, you will work with children experiencing sensory and developmental challenges.
Your responsibilities will include managing caseloads, providing essential assessments, and advocating for client needs.
Experience opportunities to travel to First Nations communities, engaging in cross-cultural partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess developmental and functional concerns in children
- Develop tailored programs based on ongoing assessments
- Ensure accurate documentation per agency standards
- Collaborate with local service agencies for effective care
- Travel extensively for community outreach projects Requirements:
- Relevant Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active registration with the College of Occupational Therapy of Ontario
- Previous pediatric experience preferred
- Familiarity with the needs of First Nation communities is an asset
