Nursing / Paramedicine Professional

1-Year Contract | 3–5 Days/Week | Daytime Hours | $24.00–$26.00/Hour

We are a small group of local family physicians looking for a caring, reliable, and team-oriented nursing or paramedicine professional to join our clinic team.

This is a 1-year contract position, 3–5 days per week, with the schedule mutually agreed upon. There is potential for an extension beyond the initial contract, based on mutual agreement and clinic needs.

About the Role

As a team of healthcare professionals, we work collaboratively to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. Everyone on our team contributes to both clinical and administrative tasks that support our patients and the day-to-day operation of the clinic.

The successful candidate will assist physicians and other team members with a variety of patient care and clinic responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform nursing-related duties, including:
- Taking vital signs and weights
- Ear syringing
- Staple and suture removal
- Dressing changes
- Other clinical procedures as requested by physicians
- Administer and maintain immunizations and injections, including IM and subcutaneous injections
- Contact patients by telephone to relay information from physicians
- Prepare, set up, and clean examination rooms and clinical equipment
- Monitor clinic supplies and coordinate ordering with the Lead Administrator
- Assist with other day-to-day clinic tasks as required
- Provide administrative support to other team members when time permits




- Work collaboratively with physicians and clinic staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Qualifications
- Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or a related paramedicine professional
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Previous clinical experience is an asset
- Experience with TELUS PS Suite is considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
