The Warehouse Picker / Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, staging, and preparing products and materials for production and shipment. This position plays an important role in supporting the daily warehouse and manufacturing operations at U Technology Corporation.

The Picker / Packer ensures materials and finished products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. The role requires strong attention to detail, safe operation of warehouse equipment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Picking & Packing
- Accurately pick products, components, and materials according to work orders, pick lists, and customer orders.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, descriptions, and product specifications before orders are packed or moved to production or shipping.
- Pack finished products and components securely to prevent damage during handling and transportation.
- Label products, boxes, pallets, and shipments accurately.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for production, customer pickup, or shipment.
- Report missing, damaged, or incorrect products to the Logistics Supervisor .

Material Handling
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other approved equipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently.
- Move materials, components, boxes, and pallets between receiving, warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
- Store products and materials in their designated locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading containers and delivery vehicles.
- Follow proper lifting and material-handling procedures at all times.

Warehouse & Inventory Support
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, counting, labeling, and stocking incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate product locations and support inventory control activities.
- Assist with cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies.




- Replenish production and picking areas as required.
- Maintain organized storage locations and ensure products are properly identified.
- Assist with returns, exchanges, and other warehouse transactions as directed.

Shipping & Receiving
- Prepare outgoing shipments according to customer and company requirements.
- Verify shipment quantities and documentation before orders leave the facility.
- Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for visible damage or discrepancies.
- Ensure shipping and receiving areas remain organized and accessible.
- Report shipping, receiving, or documentation issues to the supervisor.

Production Support
- Provide material and component support to the manufacturing and assembly team.
- Deliver required materials to production workstations according to production priorities.
- Assist with basic manufacturing or assembly tasks when required and properly trained.
- Support special projects and other operational activities as assigned.
- Work with the Manufacturing & Warehouse Coordinator to ensure production has the materials required to meet scheduled deadlines.

Safety & Workplace Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating standards.
- Complete equipment inspections before operating forklifts and other powered equipment.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, incidents, or hazards to the supervisor.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe lifting and material-handling practices.
- Operate all equipment only within the scope of required training and certification.

Qualifications & Requirements




- Valid forklift certificate is mandatory.
- Previous warehouse, order picking, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or distribution experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify products, part numbers, and quantities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work orders, and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a robust work ethic.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and move boxes and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safe lifting and material-handling techniques.
- Basic computer skills; experience with warehouse management or inventory systems is an asset.
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes, products, and warehouse procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Experience handling electrical, lighting, or electronic components.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and manufacturing equipment is an asset.

The position supports the warehouse and manufacturing departments by ensuring materials are available, products are handled correctly, and customer orders are picked, packed, and prepared accurately and on time.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
