Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ordering Specialist to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end ordering process, ensuring timely procurement of materials and services to support manufacturing operations. Your expertise in vendor management, pricing negotiations, and ERP systems will drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and forecast needs for manufacturing processes.
- Utilize ERP systems, including SAP and other supply chain software, to create, track, and manage purchase orders efficiently.
- Source reliable vendors, negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contractual agreements to optimize procurement outcomes.
- Monitor inventory levels using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Manage vendor relationships by evaluating performance, resolving issues, and maintaining clear communication channels.




- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards throughout the ordering process.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to confirm order receipt, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Familiarity with MRP systems and supply chain management principles.
- Ability to analyze data related to pricing, inventory levels, and supplier performance for informed decision-making.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
- A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
