Opportunity
We are looking for a full-time Outside Technical Sales Representative to represent Delom’s services and solutions across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and promoting technical solutions related to electric motors, generators, alternators, pumps, electromechanical components and other rotating equipment.
You will act as a trusted partner to industrial customers, working closely with internal teams to deliver a positive customer experience, strong execution and solutions aligned with each customer’s operational realities.
Role
- Set, track and achieve sales activity and business development goals.
- Develop and foster relationships with new and existing customers across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
- Identify recent business opportunities and promote Delom’s services related to repair, maintenance, refurbishment, analysis, machining and reliability of rotating equipment.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend solutions that support performance, reliability and operational continuity.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, including customer needs, competitor activity, industry trends and other factors that support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate requests, quotations and orders with internal teams to ensure timely execution and a high-quality customer experience.
- Elevate the Delom and Wajax brand through customer visits, industry events, trade shows, training sessions and business development activities.
Candidate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development or outside sales within an industrial environment.
- Experience with rotating equipment, electric motors, electromechanical systems, mechanical services, industrial reliability, maintenance or repair services is a strong asset.
- Technical diploma or degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering technology, electromechanics, industrial maintenance, electrical technology, instrumentation, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and build lasting business relationships.
- Ability to understand customer operational challenges and recommend value-added solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with a CRM, such as Salesforce, would be considered an asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned Atlantic territory.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Compensation
Total Target Compensation Range $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per annum.
Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
