Experienced Residential & Commercial Painter

Wage: $25–$40/hour, based on experience and skill level

Service Areas: Sherwood Park and surrounding areas.

About the Position

Prima Painting Inc. is looking for an experienced painter to join our team. We work on a variety of residential and commercial projects and are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, works efficiently, and can be trusted to complete jobs with minimal supervision.

This position is well suited to an experienced painter who enjoys variety and wants consistent work with a professional team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces through patching, sanding, caulking, priming, and masking
- Apply paint and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Complete interior and exterior painting projects
- Perform detailed finishing and touch-ups
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout each project
- Properly protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding surfaces
- Maintain painting tools and equipment
- Communicate with customers and team members as needed
- Follow project timelines and workplace safety procedures
- Travel to job sites throughout Edmonton and surrounding communities

Qualifications
- Professional painting experience required




- Solid understanding of painting and surface-preparation techniques
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to work on ladders and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation is an asset
- Background check is required
- Valid driver's license is an asset
- Experience with spray equipment is an asset
- Residential and commercial experience is an asset
