The position requires strong practice management and client service skills, the ability to manage competing priorities effectively, and a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform administrative tasks, such as email and calendar management, meeting coordination, processing incoming and outgoing mail, preparing expense reports, handling invoices and disbursements.Open, maintain, and close files in accordance with firm procedures.Maintain an organized file management and bring-forward system.Prepare, format, and proofread a variety of legal documents, including correspondence,
contracts, and corporate documents.Ensure all physical and electronic filing is organized and updated regularly.Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and external stakeholders.Provide support to other members of the group as required.Other duties, as assigned.Required Skills And ExperienceLegal Administrative Assistant certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution1–5 years of law firm experience, preferably in business lawProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams and SharePoint) and legal software such as iManage, Adobe, DocuSign, and Chrome RiverStrong understanding of business and legal terminologyAbility to work independently with a high degree of accountability and minimal supervisionProven capacity to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and multitask in a fast-paced environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skills,
