Hartery’s Oilfield Hauling Ltd. is seeking a Part-Time Safety Administrator to join our team in the Grande Prairie area.

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a strong safety program and ensuring company documentation and records are accurate, current, and compliant.

Responsibilities

- Maintain and administer the company’s safety program
- Keep safety policies, procedures, and documentation up to date
- Maintain driver, equipment, training, and safety records
- Track required safety tickets, certifications, and renewals
- Coordinate and maintain safety orientations and training records
- Assist with incident, near-miss, and investigation documentation
- Conduct and maintain records of safety inspections
- Prepare and maintain monthly safety meeting documentation
- Assist with internal and external safety audits
- Monitor compliance with applicable transportation and workplace safety requirements including but not limited to IFTA and Safety Fitness
- Follow up on outstanding safety documentation and corrective actions
- Assist management and employees with safety-related questions
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems
- Support the company in promoting a positive safety culture

Qualifications

- Previous safety administration or transportation industry experience preferred
- Experience in oilfield, trucking, or heavy equipment operations is an asset




- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willing to work part-time hours with flexibility to support operational needs
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
- Knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations or similar safety standards is preferred, Alberta transportation, contractor and supplier information management platforms including but not limited to ISN, ComplyWorks/Veriforce, Danatec.
