Since 2013, RunAsYouAre has supported the local running community through weekly runs and events.RunReady has launched the RunReady Performance Program, a new running health service available exclusively at the RunAsYouAre West 4th Avenue shop.THE ROLEAs a Clinical Research Specialist (Physiotherapist), you will help validate the science behind the RunReady System through evidence-based research and applied analysis. In this hybrid role, you will bridge clinical expertise and data-driven evaluation to ensure that RunReady programs and the platform meet the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and performance. You will conduct studies, analyze results, and translate findings into insights that guide product development, education, and innovation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResearch and Validation | 50%Study DesignDevelop and execute research protocols to assess the effectiveness of RunReady’s assessments, footwear matching logic, and exercise prescriptions.Data AnalysisCollect, organize, and interpret clinical and performance data to identify trends, validate outcomes, and inform ongoing improvements.Evidence ReviewConduct literature reviews and maintain a deep understanding of current research in physiotherapy, sports science, biomechanics, and footwear technology.Content AccuracySupport all clinical, educational, and marketing materials through fact checking, citations, and validation of scientific claims.Knowledge TranslationTurn research findings into clear, practical insights that guide product development, education, and internal and external education‑related communication.RunReady Studio and Product Testing | 20%Program DeliveryDeliver RunReady services in the RunReady Studio to gain firsthand experience with client assessments, footwear recommendations,
and exercise prescriptions.Validation and FeedbackCollect and analyze client feedback to validate system performance and identify areas for refinement.CollaborationCollaborate with the Product and Technology teams to test and improve the RunReady platform in a live setting.Cross Functional Collaboration | 15%IntegrationWork with the Clinical Education, Product, and Technology teams to integrate validated findings into platform updates and training materials.Brand StandardsCollaborate with the Brand and Marketing teams to ensure that all research communications follow brand approved content standards.Partnership DevelopmentSupport publication efforts and partnerships that build RunReady’s credibility in the physiotherapy, sports science, and running community.Educational SupportHelp guide the development of educational content used in consumer marketing, employer marketing, and other RunReady and RunAsYouAre communication channels, ensuring accuracy and alignment with clinical research.Training and Community Engagement | 15%Research SharingShare research insights with physiotherapists who use the RunReady platform.Education SupportContribute to internal education sessions, webinars, and workshops.RepresentationRepresent RunReady at industry events to present RunReady‑related key findings and encourage collaboration opportunities.WHO YOU AREA runner at heart- You are passionate about running, and want to share your knowledge and experience with others to expand our running communityDedicated to clinical excellence- You provide high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each runner’s unique needs.
