As a key member of the payroll team, the Specialist will focus on both hourly and salaried payrolls across Canada and the U.S. You will review data uploads and process changes in employment status, all while adhering to legal guidelines. Collaboration with HR and management is crucial to resolving payroll-related issues while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities: • Process high-volume hourly and salaried payrolls accurately • Review and upload automated payroll data consistently • Prepare bonus payments and payroll reports as needed • Produce Records of Employment and respond to inquiries • Maintain personnel files and aid in year-end processes
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • Minimum 3 years processing high-volume payroll • Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (preferred) • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems • Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
