Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid commitment to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients, especially those with disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice care. Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Support clients with household chores such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Assist with transfers and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams or family members




- Support clients with activities that promote mental stimulation and social engagement

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, home care, or hospice care is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, senior care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Certification or training in medication administration or nursing assistance is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
- A genuine passion for caring for others and improving their quality of life
