Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing in accordance with medical orders and pharmacy protocols
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies as needed
- Provide friendly and informative customer service to patients, answering questions about medications and pharmacy services
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication logs, and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Support medication administration processes by preparing doses for nurses or healthcare providers when applicable
- Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to safety standards, including proper storage of medicines and cleanliness




- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to verify prescriptions and clarify medication instructions when necessary

Qualifications

- Prior experience working in a pharmacy setting is highly desirable
- Experience as a pharmacy technician or related role is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Passion for patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is an advantage (Fillware)
- Certification or training related to pharmacy assistance or technician roles is a plus
