Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in acute care and pediatrics. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve their physical function and quality of life.

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary clinical setting to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and rehabilitation processes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest medical terminology and physiotherapy practices.

Requirements





- Valid physiotherapy license or certification as required by Provincial regulations.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred; pediatric experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and families.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Must be in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario
- Must be in good standing with all insurance companies
