Ideal Can is looking for a Procurement and Logistics Technician to join our team at our Saint-Apollinaire facility. We are the largest manufacturer of food cans in Canada, with an additional facility in Chatham, Ontario.

The Procurement And Logistics Technician’s

- Manage inventory in the computer system
- Conduct physical inventory counts
- Manage and optimize inventory levels
- Issue purchase orders according to requirements
- Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods by land, sea, and air
- Resolve issues related to deliveries, damaged goods, and supplier non-conformities
- Plan and communicate transportation schedules for customer deliveries
- Assign loads to various carriers
- Manage unexpected situations and last-minute changes

Qualifications

- DEC in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or an equivalent field
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Very good knowledge of French and intermediate English
- Knowledge of a Warehouse Management System (WMS)

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable working with computer systems
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Strong organizational skills
- Autonomous and self-motivated
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
