This San Mateo-based position requires a designer with extensive experience in navigating complex systems and a portfolio that illustrates a clear design process. You will work closely with PMs and engineers to ensure the design aligns with Rakuten’s mission of creating rewarding shopping experiences for its members.

Requirements: • 6+ years of design experience in related fields • Degree in design, HCI, or equivalent • Robust portfolio with end-to-end product design examples • Proficient in Figma and design tools • Solid understanding of visual design principles
