POSITION SUMMARY The role of a Production Worker (member of the USW Local 360 union) is crucial in the manufacturing process, where they assist Machine Operators in various tasks. Their responsibilities include verifying the quality of products, ensuring that safety protocols are followed, and providing support in the operation of machinery. This position has above-average physical demands and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Their contribution is vital in upholding the standards of production and efficiency within the industry. This role is a stepping stone to a Machine Operator with a base pay of $31.38 per hour.
COMPENSATION &
- SHIFT ROTATION Position rate of pay: $23.19 per hour
Night Shift Premium: $1.25/hour
Production Incentive
12-hour rotating shifts: 6 AM to 6 PM and 6 PM to 6 AM
7 shifts per 14 calendar days RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting Machine Operators at assigned workstations (i.e. lifting / moving product up to 50 lbs. performing changeovers)
Operating a forklift, overhead crane

We have been in business for 60 years What you’ll bring Previous manufacturing experience in an industrial setting, including continuous metal strapping of finished goods using a pneumatic tool
Minimum 2 years of forklift or liftruck experience within the past 5 years (comfortable with lift trucks ranging from 10,000 to 17,000 lbs)
Ability to pass a Mechanical Aptitude test, as this position will graduate into a Machine Operator
Comfortable working outside in the yard using heated liftrucks
Attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Working well with others and using critical thinking when following instructions.
Effective communications skills in English.
Steel-toed safety boots with non-slip sole.
Note: This position is subject to criminal background and drug and alcohol test clearance.
