The Position

Are you a digital communication expert with a passion for strategic content and eye-catching design? If you are, we are looking for a creative professional to develop and execute compelling digital content, campaigns, manage web and social media posts, and produce high-quality visual content. This is a 6-month temporary contact ending on or before March 26, 2027.

As the Program Analyst, Digital Campaigner, you will lead the planning and execution of digital content and campaigns across email, web, social media, and other digital platforms. Working closely with the Communications team, you will create compelling visual and written content, and monitor and report on digital channel performance. You will also support member-focused initiatives by providing guidance on digital tools, social media best practices, and online engagement plans.

What You Bring

- A diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience.
- Experience developing and executing digital marketing, communications, or social media campaigns.
- Experience using social media management, email marketing, analytics, and digital engagement tools.




- Proficiency with digital design and content creation tools, such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor content for a variety of audiences and platforms.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience developing and executing digital communication content, campaigns, and using design tools like Canva to create high-quality visuals.
- Adept at managing digital tools and staying ahead of emerging trends to enhance reach and impact.
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours with the ability to travel, as required.
- Work well under pressure; a creative problem solver and can meet tight deadlines working within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with organized union structures and have some knowledge of the current health care system in Alberta.
- Commitment to trade union philosophy and public healthcare which supports your ability to make key recommendations for program, policy, and process development ensuring advancement of HSAA’s strategic plans.

What We Offer Competitive Compensation: $52.98 to $64.48 per hour, commensurate with experience Work-Life Balance: 35-hour work week. Flexible work schedule available.
