Role: Project Manager (IT)

Location: Edmonton, Alberta – Remote with up to 15% travel to Edmonton

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to manage multiple high-priority technology initiatives within a public-sector environment. The role will involve project planning, stakeholder and vendor management, governance, risk management, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage multiple IT projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, charters, status reports, risk logs, and other project deliverables.
- Coordinate cybersecurity, infrastructure, and SharePoint migration initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and budgets.
- Lead stakeholder meetings and communicate project status to sponsors and senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate vendors, technical teams,



and multiple organizational groups.
- Support governance, procurement, change management, and transition activities.
- Ensure projects align with organizational policies, standards, and objectives.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience with large and complex IT projects.
- Experience with cybersecurity, infrastructure, or server remediation projects.
- Experience with SharePoint migrations.
- Solid stakeholder and vendor management experience.
- Strong project planning, governance, risk, and issue management skills.
- Experience working with public-sector or large enterprise organizations.
- Active PMP or PGMP certification required.
