Be a key player in our residents' lives by becoming a Recreational Programs Aide. This full-time position centers on planning and facilitating enjoyable and enriching activities for residents.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Programs Manager and team to create customizable programs that cater to residents’ interests. Your focus will be on promoting social interaction and enhancing the residents’ quality of life, while ensuring that all activities are delivered safely and effectively. You’ll also document participation and contribute to special department initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:



• Assist with planning and executing recreational programs • Encourage resident engagement and autonomy in activities • Ensure readiness and safety of program areas and supplies • Support and document resident participation in programs • Collaborate on special events and department initiatives

Requirements: • Previous experience in a relevant field or similar role • Excellent communication skills for resident interaction • Engaged, compassionate approach to care • Knowledge of health and safety standards • Ability to promote a stimulating workplace for residents
