Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care

Location: Hamilton, ON

Assignment Location: Brantford Area, Ontario

Employment: Casual

Pay: $45.00/hour

HealthOPM staffing agency is recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) for casual shifts within a long-term care home in the Brantford area. We're looking for dependable nurses with long-term care experience who can provide secure resident care and offer flexible availability, including weekends.

The Role

- Provide nursing assessments, resident care and ongoing monitoring

- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and scope of practice

- Respond to changes in resident condition and escalate concerns appropriately

- Complete clinical documentation and communicate with the interdisciplinary care team





- Provide direction and support to RPNs and PSWs as appropriate

Requirements

- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

- Previous long-term care, retirement or geriatric nursing experience preferred

- Current CPR/BLS certification

- Vulnerable Sector Check and required health/immunization documentation

- Reliable transportation to the Brantford area

- Flexible casual availability, including weekends

- Able to start as soon as possible
