You are detail oriented, motivated, and eager to gain hands‑on experience in a supportive environment. You will assist with day‑to‑day financial tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of BRG’s accounting processes. This role is part‑time (approx. 14–16 hours per week, with Tuesdays as a requirement).WHAT YOU’LL DO:Core duties include AR, AP, bank and credit card reconciliations.Accurately prepare biweekly pay run for Corporate and Store Entities.Calculate royalties and prepare Franchisee invoices.Review submitted expense reports, prepare journal entries and employee reimbursements.Prepare Gift Card reconciliation and reporting package.File GST,



PST and other statutory filings.Support in cash management.WHAT YOU BRING:Education and/or experience in accounting or pursuing CPA.Foundational knowledge of accounting principles (i.E. AP/AR, reconciliation, financial reporting).Proficient in Excel and comfort learning new systems.Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all levels of the organization, and relevant external contacts.Strong verbal and written communication skills.A proactive approach to problem solving and willingness to ask questions and learn.Proven ability to effectively manage change within tight deadlines.Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Hospitality background an asset.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:Hourly rate between $25 to $45, based on experience.50% off meals at select Browns Socialhouse and Crafthouse restaurants.Healthy office snacks and dog‑friendly work environment.Office located near the heart of Kerrisdale, close to Pacific Spirit Park trails and UBC.#J-18808-Ljbffr
