Salary: $28.42 to $35.87 per hour

Employment Type: Regular Full Time

Location: Valleyview EMS - Candidates will transport ill or injured patients from scenes of emergency.

- They will operate ambulances or other modes of transportation.
- They are assessing emergency scenes and patients.




- Candidates treat patients by administering minor medications.
- They will ensure that ambulances or other Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicles are properly stocked and equipped. Job requirement - Candidates must be completed accredited Primary Care Paramedic program.
- They must have a current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Healthcare Provider.
- They must have 3 years of practice and procedures in the North Zone.
- They must have the ability for work in an interfacility transport environment.
- They must be skilled competencies of leadership or communication. Work setting - They must have a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator’s Licence.
- They must have completed Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test.
- They must have the ability to perform inpatient care in a clinical or pre-hospital setting.
- They must have an interest in the North Zone.
