Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Part-Time to Full-Time
Burquitlam Animal Hospital is currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team! This position offers part-time hours with the potential to grow into full-time for the right candidate.
Schedule Requirements:
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Additional weekday shifts available (flexible scheduling)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
- Provide compassionate patient care and client communication
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work on your own
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience with Cornerstone
