Foresight Recruitment Group is representing an established Calgary general contractor hiring experienced Project Managers.

We are interested in speaking with construction professionals currently based in Toronto and across the GTA who are ready to relocate to Calgary for greater project ownership, career progression and long-term opportunity.

The Prospect

As Project Manager, you will lead your project from planning through construction and turnover. You will be responsible for the budget, schedule, contracts, consultants, trades and client relationship while working alongside an experienced local construction team.

Depending on your background, you may be considered for:

- A ground-up wood-frame residential development
- A complex conversion of an existing building to residential use

You do not need experience in both. We will work with you to determine which opportunity best matches your project history.

What You’ll Do

- Lead all stages of project delivery, from pre-construction through closeout
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules and procurement plans
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Administer contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation
- Chair project meetings and provide clear, accurate progress reporting
- Identify project risks and resolve issues before they affect delivery
- Manage costs, forecasting and financial reporting
- Build trusted relationships with clients and project partners
- Work closely with site leadership to maintain quality, safety and schedule
- Take ownership of deficiencies, turnover and project closeout

What You Bring
- Several years of Project Management experience with a general contractor
- Experience delivering multi-family residential construction
- A background in wood-frame, concrete, mixed-use, renovation or conversion projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgets, schedules and project controls




- Confidence managing clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Clear, proactive and professional communication
- The ability to lead through changing conditions and competing priorities
- A construction, engineering or architectural education is an asset
- Gold Seal, PMP or another relevant designation is an asset
- The ability and commitment to relocate to Calgary

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $110,000–$140,000
- Discretionary annual bonus
- Three weeks of vacation
- Six paid sick days and three paid personal days annually
