Restaurant Manager is to be responsible for meeting restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. The incumbent will ensure efficient restaurant operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Job duties are as follows but not limited to:

Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant including planning, organising, and controlling various aspects of daily operations of the restaurant Evaluate the day-to-day operation as per company policy and protocols set by A & W restaurants Plan, direct, and supervise the preparation and cooking of food, and the proper use of equipment in a safe and sanitary environment

Assist in the responsibility for restaurant outcomes which include but are not limited to increased sales, profitability, and employee retention Implement marketing promotional campaigns Order supplies and verify delivered food supplies for quantity and quality





Supervise food storage and maintain inventory control Oversee building maintenance, cleanliness and security Direct the overall sanitation procedures for conformity to prescribed policies, procedures, and regulations

Working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations Preparing reports and other performance analysis documentation Conducting audits according to A&W; Restaurant guidelines to ensure food service quality, environmental safety, and infection control

Recruit new staff, train and develop existing staff, engaging and encouraging staff to achieve targets. Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.

Identify staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained Report to and attend regular meetings with area managers or head office representatives Other duties as assigned Job Requirements:

Post-Secondary Education in a related discipline Minimum 1 year of previous restaurant or QSR management experience. Additional Job Requirements:

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including early morning, afternoon and evening shifts
