Responsibilities
Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive.
Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient seating of guests based on their preferences and restaurant capacity.
Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the menu, reservations, and special events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
Assist in managing reservations through the POS system effectively.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and concerns promptly.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Help create a positive dining experience by ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
Robust communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in a restaurant or hotel setting.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
