Complete Utility Contractors is looking for an experienced Skid Steer Operator / Labourer to join our paving crew.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable operating a skid steer but is equally willing to get out of the machine and work alongside the crew. This is not a full time equipment operating position.

The successful candidate will have experience working around asphalt, roadwork or civil construction and understand what it takes to keep a paving crew moving efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Safely operate a skid steer to support paving operations
Use sweeper and other skid steer attachments as required
Assist with grading, base preparation and site cleanup
Move gravel, asphalt and other materials
Support asphalt placement and paving activities
Operate plate tampers and other small equipment
Perform general labor duties including shoveling, raking and cleanup
Work closely with the paving crew and Foreman to maintain production
Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
Keep equipment and work areas clean and well maintained
Follow company and site safety procedures at all times
Perform other duties as required to support the crew

What We’re Looking For
Previous skid steer operating experience required
Previous paving,



roadbuilding or civil construction experience strongly preferred
Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the shift
Experience working around asphalt and paving equipment is an asset
Ability to safely operate around workers, equipment and active traffic
Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
Reliable transportation to various job sites
Solid attendance and punctuality
Safety-conscious with good communication skills
Able to work effectively as part of a crew
Willingness to work longer hours when paving schedules require it

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
