Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Labourer to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various painting and general labour tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and taping to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply primers, paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment across diverse projects including residential and commercial sites
Assist with drywall installation, repair, and finishing to support seamless wall surfaces
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting plans and technical specifications
Operate hand tools and power tools safely for rigging, sanding, scraping, or surface preparation tasks
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements




Prior construction experience or a strong interest in building trades is preferred
Knowledge of staining, prepping and painting practices
Ability to read schematics and blueprints for accurate project execution
Experience with residential or commercial painting projects
Familiarity with rigging procedures, hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and schematics
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
Solid time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently on busy job sites
Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment involving lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
