We are looking to hire a self-motivated carpenter helper, with the drive to learn and a creative mind.

Corbin & Company Renovations Inc. has been built on one simple idea “right is right and wrong is wrong”, WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS. This idea and attention to detail has created a long list of happy clients and excellent job security; our lead time is currently 12 months. We service an area from Burlington to Mississauga with 85% of our work in Oakville.

Requirements

· MUST HAVE THE DRIVE TO LEARN AND IMPROVE

· 2 years of construction experience

· The ability to lift 60 lb. + multiple times

· Must have a driver’s license and transportation

· Excellent attention to detail

· Safety foot ware, glasses, ear protection and respirator

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to

· Preparing the job site for the day’s work

· Helping with measuring, cutting and installing materials

· Painting and sanding

· Clean up and pack up for the day

· Learning and improving on new skills

Expectations include





· Showing up ready to work on time every day

· Stay off your phone during working hours

· Be polite to the clients and other trades

· Learn and improve your skills as the pertain to the project

We are hoping to hire a long term employee who can grow and develop with the company. You will learn how to maintain a job site, framing, how to replace structural elements, drywall, taping and mudding, tile setting, trim work, cabinet installation and time management.
