CASL Surface Technologies is a corrosion and wear solutions provider with over 25 years of experience, and we are looking to add to our growing team at our Nisku Facility.

Accountant

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and documenting business transactions in accordance with GAAP.
Perform an analytical review of accounts monthly and at year-end.
Reconcile Income Statement and Balance sheets accounts.
Perform a wide variety of accounting functions including generation of monthly sales flash, cost of sales and variance reports, WIP and Inventory valuation.
Maintain a profitability analysis by product, customer, revenue type, operational division, etc. as well as benchmarking and operating efficiency targets.
Consolidation of financial data and records and preparation of financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts for the business




Assists in the development and implementation of key processes, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Education and Work Experience
Post-secondary education; Degree in Accounting/Finance
3 + years of accounting experience in a manufacturing workplace
Experience in financial reporting including consolidation of financial records and preparation of financial statements, analyzing financial data to support business decisions.
Familiar with multi-divisional companies and foreign exchange exposure
Proficient in the use of ERP systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
