ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN – CPA FIRM Our client is a well-established CPA firm located in Laval, led by a partner and recognized for the quality of its client support. The firm is looking for an experienced accounting technician who seeks a professional, supportive, and adaptable environment with long-term career prospects. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks for a diverse clientele: Enter and process accounting data in the existing systems
Manage accounts payable and receivables;Prepare bank reconciliations and participate in month-end closing processes;Monitor accounting and tax deadlines;Collaborate with CPAs and other team members to ensure quality client service;Opportunity to participate in personal income tax returns during tax season;Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and progressively develop your responsibilities based on your experience and interests. Training in administration, accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience , ideally in a firm or professional environment
Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
Functional English, an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Acomba, or CaseWare , Taxprep , an asset
