Become a vital part of Strike as a 3rd Year Apprentice Pipefitter at the Cenovus Christina Lake North plant in Alberta. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and assembling vital pipe systems and equipment. As a registered 3rd Year Apprentice, you will collaborate closely with journeyperson pipefitters, learning to read construction drawings and directly support installations in office.

Your hands-on experience will cover hydrotesting, pipe preparation, and installation of control systems. Expect a culture dedicated to safety and values that emphasize respect and fairness in every interaction. Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret red-line construction drawings and blueprints
Assist journeyperson pipefitters on site installations




Assemble piping and valves in compressor modules
Prepare pipes for tacking, hoisting, and rigging
Hydrotest and install pipe spools in fabrication facility

Requirements:
Registered 3rd Year Apprentice with relevant authority
Valid H2S Alive and CSTS tickets required
Pass pre-employment drug testing
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds
Comfortable working outdoors
