Seeking a passionate After School Program Part-Time English Tutor to support students in their academic growth.

The successful candidate will help students develop strong reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills in a supportive learning environment.

University students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
Assist students with homework and school curriculum
Prepare and deliver lessons based on student needs
Support reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary development
Monitor student progress regularly
Create a positive and encouraging learning setting
Communicate with staff regarding student progress

Qualifications
Robust English language and communication skills
Experience in tutoring or teaching English, especially with children
Friendly,



patient, and responsible
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to commute to our Markham location
Familiarity with the Ontario Curriculum is an asset

Language Requirements
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills are required
Native English proficiency is strongly preferred

Schedule
Part-time
Weekday afternoons
Occasional weekends
Adaptable schedule based on class enrollment and availability
