Job description

The ideal candidate will have construction / Real Estate accounting background, be detailed oriented and have strong analytical and communication skills. Having experience using real estate accounting software is an asset.

Duties:

· Prepare year-end working paper files and draft financial statements for external accountants review

· Prepare corporate tax returns

· Ad hoc duties as assigned

Experience:
Construction / Real Estate Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Familiarity and working knowledge with construction accounting software. Experience with REMS, Yardi Gemini, Yardi Voyager an asset.
Accounting designation is an asset but not required
Basic knowledge of preparing corporate taxes using Taxprep software

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
