Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dog Groomer to join our team. This position is part time to start with the opportunity of full time employment. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. This role involves working in a fast paced team setting , while maintaining a secure and friendly atmosphere. Hands on experience in dog grooming and customer service skills are highly valued and required for this position.

Duties
Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to prepare them for grooming
Shaving, scissoring and applying appropriate grooming styles based on breed standards or owner requests
Maintaining a clean and sanitary grooming area, including sterilizing tools and equipment
Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and preferences
Handling pets safely during grooming procedures, including managing heavy or anxious animals with care




Assisting with customer payments, scheduling appointments and managing client records
Ensuring the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process

Qualifications
Prior experience in dog grooming is required; training can be provided for the right candidate to advance skill level
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
Reliability & flexibility with working hours
Ability to handle dogs safely with confidence that may be heavy or difficult to manage
Compassionate attitude towards animals and their well-being
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
