Duties
Measure and prepare surfaces for siding installation using hand tools and blueprint reading skills
Install various types of siding materials, including vinyl, fiber cement, or wood, following project specifications
Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and caulking guns to secure siding panels properly
Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials safely and efficiently
Apply caulking to seal joints and prevent water infiltration, ensuring weather-tight finishes
Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans
Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed throughout each project
Experience
Prior construction experience or hands-on work in building trades preferred
Familiarity with carpentry techniques and tools is highly advantageous
Experience with handyman tasks or general maintenance work is a plus
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical instructions accurately
Comfortable performing heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing and finishing touches
Solid work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
