Daeji is a Korean restaurant located in Downtown Vancouver. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking part-time team member to join our team.

Job Description

Since our restaurant is not extremely busy, this position involves a combination of front-of-house and kitchen duties. Team members will help with serving customers, food preparation, and basic kitchen tasks depending on the needs of the restaurant.

Responsibilities
Provide friendly and attentive service to customers
Take orders and process payments
Prepare and portion ingredients
Cut kimchi and prepare other ingredients
Prepare and handle meat and other food items
Assist with cooking and plating when needed
Keep the dining area and kitchen clean and organized
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Work as a team and assist with other tasks as needed

Requirements
Previous restaurant experience is an asset,



but not required
Basic English communication skills
Responsible, reliable, and punctual
Able to work well as part of a team
Willing to learn and perform both front-of-house and kitchen duties
Food Safe certification is an asset

Position & Compensation
Part time
Minimum wage + 4% vacation pay
Paid every two weeks (biweekly)
Downtown Vancouver
Flexible scheduling depending on availability
