PAWfect Spa is located in the St. Clair & Bathurst location. Currently, we are recruiting a Part Time Grooming Assistant position.

Job Description
Assist Pet Stylists to groom pets
Brush / de-mat, bath (shampoo/conditioning) and blow dry pets
Complete and file grooming log records for each pet groomed
Ensure Grooming Salon cleanliness and safety to our standards
Assist in booking and re-confirming grooming appointments
Interact with customers to ensure our salon exceeds their expectations
Special projects as assigned

Education




A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred

Requirements
Must have actual animal working experience (paid employment or volunteer work in the animal industry, not bathing/handling your own pet)
Have good verbal and written communication skills
Have good public and personal relations skill
Have valuable organizational skills and attention to details
Have good socially oriented and enjoy working with people, along with a compassion to animals
Able to do multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously
Pleasant personality capable of working in a team oriented environment
Have valuable hygiene and appropriate dress
Have no medical or physical conditions that would prevent the successful completion of position duties
Working on Saturday is a must. Flexible to work on weekdays and weekends (9am – 6pm)

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
