Job Title: Business Information Management Analyst II (Data Scientist II)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Scientist II to support Model Health & Governance activities within a financial services workplace. The role focuses on model performance monitoring, data analysis, model governance, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor production models and analyze performance, stability, data quality, and trends.
Use Python, SQL, Databricks, and PySpark to analyze large datasets.
Investigate model performance issues, data anomalies, and threshold breaches.
Support model validation, governance, remediation, and regulatory activities.
Prepare monitoring reports, dashboards, documentation, and presentations.
Work with Business, Risk, Compliance, Model Validation, Technology, and vendor teams.
Help improve model monitoring, reporting, and automation processes.

Required Skills
2+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics,



Model Risk, Model Governance, Fraud Analytics, or related areas.
Strong Python and SQL skills.
Hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark.
Understanding of machine learning, classification, regression, ensemble methods, and anomaly detection.
Solid communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have
Banking or financial services experience.
Experience with Model Validation, Model Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, or Regulatory teams.
Experience working with third-party model vendors.
