Purpose of the Position
To operate commercial vehicles that transport legal and over-dimensional open deck cargo to and from specified locations in a protected, legal manner.
To recognize that she/he is most importantly responsible for his/her safety and that of the public.

Use our set of best practices and standards, to provide excellent service
Attend all mandatory company meetings
Perform pick up and deliveries to and from various points of entry including ports and client facilities
Keep all appointments and communicate unforeseen delays
Perform pre- and post-daily inspection of equipment, notifying dispatchers and in office shop of any needed repairs or routine maintenance
Send paperwork via email in real-time upon completion of a load
Resolve DVIR issues prior to moving every day
Keep truck clean and organized
Call timeouts and ask questions




Send photos of all open deck loads or other loads as requested
Accept a load only if within his/her training and experience
Follow all laws and regulations governing his/her position

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledgeable on FMCSA and DOT driving guidelines
Solid communication skills, including telephone, email and interpersonal skills with Operations staff and clients
Ability to learn, adapt and become proficient in technologies, including but not limited to electronic tablets, email, Isaac, Vertical Alliance video training.
Ability to read and speak English
Ability to cross border

Education and Experience
Class AZ CDL
Minimum 23 years of age
Minimum 2 years’ comparable driving experience
MVR in compliance with Precision Specialized standards
TWIC card

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Ability to pass a DOT physical.
Ability to tarp open deck loads.
