Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and productive Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash and card payments
Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring proper food handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and counters in accordance with health regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times




Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to health department standards

Requirements
Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods effectively
Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed
